Update on the services provided by ARAS

ARAS update on Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Dear colleagues, partners, sponsors and friends of ARAS,

I am writing to provide an update on the services provided by ARAS.

As COVID-19 restrictions ease in South Australia, we are reviewing and updating our response in line with the latest Government advice.

We have recommenced our face-to-face client appointments and to ensure everyone’s safety, prior to the appointments, our ARAS advocates will guide you through the required process to meet in a recommended way.

We ask that you inform our Advocates if you are sick or starting to feel symptoms of being sick and if so, we will help you to reschedule your appointment to another day when you are feeling better.

We have also resumed our face-to-face information sessions and prior to those sessions, our Advocates will contact you to discuss your COVID-19 plan and the requirements for safe delivery of information.

We are continuing to provide support to older people on our phone line, and via email and video/teleconferencing.

Please browse our website for information, such as brochures, fact sheets and information on the prevention of elder abuse, COVID-19, useful linksvideos and to receive updated information on our service delivery.

Thank you for your ongoing support as we continue to provide advocacy, information, education and support to the South Australian community.

Sincerely,
Carolanne Barkla
